Working out is absolutely one of the best things you can do for your body, make no mistake. But like any rigorous activity, it comes with risks.

The human body simply isn’t used to lifting weights weighing hundreds of pounds day in and day out or running miles upon miles in the hot sun.

Maybe at one point were strong, svelte creatures of action, able to climb trees and hoist rocks up mountainsides. Sadly, those days are a thing of the past.
